Parish Afternoon Tea
A huge amount of thanks to everyone who supported last Sunday’s Afternoon Tea. A special thanks to the Lourdes Theatre Group and the Scouts for their wonderful work in handling the preparations, serving, and entertainment. Your efforts are very much appreciated. A great afternoon was had by all.
Parish Fun Day fundraiser
The Parish Fun Day on Saturday 14th June raised an impressive £1,410 for the parish maintenance fund.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the event, and special thanks to the Lourdes Theatre Group and the Scouts for their hard work in planning and organising the day.
Craft Fayre and Parish Quiz Night
Huge thanks to all who came and supported the Craft Fayre on Saturday 30th November 2024.
There were many very talented crafters selling a whole array of different Christmas gifts and items on the stalls, including a big Christmas raffle, delicious home baking and much, much more.
A real success and a wonderful day was had by all.
And later in the evening, huge thanks to everyone who supported the parish Quiz Night.
Twelve teams competed and had a great evening.
Congratulations to the winning team, 'Cod liver oil and orange juice' and to all the raffle prize winners.
Thank you to our quiz master, Margaret, and her amazing team of helpers for a terrific night.
It was great for bringing folk together to socialise and have an enjoyable time.
Massive thanks to both events for the proceeds raised for parish funds.
